A prayer for new dads
Dear lord, I'd like to commit all the new fathers into Your loving hands.
We know that parenthood is difficult, tiring and at times, daunting.
God, we know that with You, any man can become a great father!
I surrender all soon-to-be and new fathers to You.
Guide them, watch over them and show them that
being a father is the greatest gift that You could ever have given them.
I pray that they will cherish fatherhood and learn how to love as You do.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

Querido señor, me gustaría encomendar a todos los nuevos padres en tus manos amorosas.
Sabemos que la paternidad es difícil, agotadora y, a veces, desalentadora.
¡Dios, sabemos que contigo, cualquier hombre puede llegar a ser un gran padre!
Te entrego a todos los futuros y nuevos padres.
Guíalos, vela por ellos y muéstrales que
ser padre es el regalo más grande que jamás podrías haberles dado.
Ruego que aprecien la paternidad y aprendan a amar como Tú lo haces.
