My Prayer in The Midst of Darkness

Lord in the midst of the darkness & chaos that covers our land I pray that we, your church may Rise & Shine... That we may accept & embrace the clarion call the prophet Isaiah declared in Isaiah 60:1-2 “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you.” 

God the world doesn’t need a church that is opinionated, but one that points all men unto you. For In Matthew 11:28 you clearly say “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” God when those who sail & find themselves in turbulent & raging waters they need a Paul. Lord, America needs your church to Rise Up as Paul in the book of Acts that though his life was in peril along with all those being whipped in the boat that was destined to sink by a Nor’easter yet he had boldness and audacity to Rise Up & prophecy, “I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you…”

 Let us be that lighthouse to which all those that are lost and in troubled waters of life may identify & yearn to draw closer too. We are the light of the world.... Help us “BE LIGHT” because if I stand in a room full of people who are fearful because of the darkness that fills it, they are franticly trying to find the exit door & can’t find their way out, yet I know where the switch is… The one responsible for the darkness & fear is me.... Ohhhhh God, create in each of us a passion to BE LIGHT, and point all men unto Jesus for as He stated in John 8:12 “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” 

I pray this in the Glorious name of our Lord & Savior Jesus!!!!
