"Peace"
Dear Father God, in the name of Your Son and my Lord Christ Jesus, I come to you with a heart filled with thanksgiving and an attitude of gratefulness, giving you all honor and praise.
As I look at this tree in front of my house, on many occasions I watch the wind blow and shake it, rain and snow weigh it down, people kick it and lean their weight on it. But still it stands strong and firm. I thank you my Lord for teaching me how to receive and live in this unshakeable peace given by You.
I pray today that the peace of Christ will overshadow and embrace each person reading this. A peace that surpasses understanding. A peace in the midst of trials, tests and unknown circumstances. A peace to embrace the isolated, homeless and those financially and emotionally in need. A peace that embraces, comforts and upholds us when our loved ones are not with us.
The peace that Your Son gives us we cannot get from this world. So as the season of Christ's birth begins help us to walk, live, love, laugh, and give in peace. In Christ Jesus name, Amen.

"Paz"
Querido Dios Padre, en el nombre de Tu Hijo y de mi Señor Jesucristo, vengo a ti con un corazón lleno de acción de gracias y una actitud de agradecimiento, dándote todo honor y alabanza. Mientras miro este árbol frente a mi casa , en muchas ocasiones veo el viento soplar y agitarlo, la lluvia y la nieve lo abruman, la gente lo patea y se apoya en él. Pero aún se mantiene fuerte y firme. Te agradezco mi Señor por enseñarme cómo recibir y vivir en esta paz inquebrantable que Tú has dado. Oro hoy para que la paz de Cristo cubra y abrace a cada persona que lee esto. Una paz que sobrepasa el entendimiento. Una paz en medio de pruebas, pruebas y circunstancias desconocidas. Una paz para abrazar a los que están aislados, sin hogar y a los necesitados económica y emocionalmente. Una paz que nos abraza, consuela y sostiene cuando nuestros seres queridos no están con nosotros. La paz que Tu Hijo nos da no la podemos obtener de este mundo. Entonces, cuando comience la temporada del nacimiento de Cristo, ayúdanos a caminar, vivir, amar, reír y dar en paz. En el nombre de Cristo Jesús,
