Dear Heavenly Father, you are awesome and we will praise you forever; there is no one like our great God! In reverence, we thank you as we begin this new year, this new day. May we know that every day ahead is already known by you. You direct the steps of your children and are pleased when we lean on your trust and understanding.
May we never lose sight of your presence and seek the wisdom you so freely give to those who ask. Lord, be our guide and guard. Give us power, love, and a sound mind. We do not have to walk blindly or foolishly into the days ahead, full of fear. We can walk confidently, remembering what you did before; that you can do it again, exceedingly and abundantly! Walk with us into the promises of this new year, leaving our Egypts behind.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Querido Padre Celestial, eres maravilloso y te alabaremos por siempre; ¡No hay nadie como nuestro gran Dios! En reverencia, te damos gracias al comenzar este nuevo año, este nuevo día. Que sepamos que todos los días que tenemos por delante ya los conocéis. Tú diriges los pasos de tus hijos y te alegras cuando nos apoyamos en tu confianza y comprensión.
Que nunca perdamos de vista tu presencia y busquemos la sabiduría que tan libremente das a quienes te la piden. Señor, sé nuestro guía y guardián. Danos poder, amor y una mente sana. No tenemos que caminar a ciegas o tontamente hacia los días venideros, llenos de miedo. Podemos caminar con confianza, recordando lo que hiciste antes; ¡Que podrás hacerlo de nuevo, en exceso y en abundancia! Camine con nosotros hacia las promesas de este nuevo año, dejando atrás a nuestros Egiptos.
