Our Daily Prayer for Sunday - Omayra Toppin
Submitted by: Omayra Toppin
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus. Father we humble ourselves upon your throne giving you all honor, all glory and all praise. We magnify your holy name, you are King of Kings and Lord of Lords, you’re Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
Father, we thank you for waking us up this morning, for clothing us in our right mind. Thank you for protecting us from evil and keeping our family safe. Father, thank you for allowing us to see a brand-new day. We know today is a gift and as your word says in Psalm 118:24, This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it. So, we rejoice…. Hallelujah!
Father God, we know women are precious to you; that you have hand selected them and called them by name for a purpose. As you know, many are playing the role of a mentor, friend, confidante and prayer partner. Help us Lord to embrace one another. Help us to speak life to them, to use our tongue to encourage and left them up and never tear them down.
Help us Father; to be good friends, who reflect grace, not judgement, who offer support, not competition, who give hope, not anxiety and especially to always love and help one another. And Father God, I pray that you will bless our homes, O God. Make the doors of our homes wide enough to receive all who need love and fellowship and narrow enough to shut out all envy, pride and hate.
Father help us to stay clean and ready to do your will in our lives, that we may continue to walk in obedience and do what you have called us to do. Help us Lord to get connected, to get busy for the kingdom.
For your word says in Matthew 9:37, “the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few”. Give us the strength that comes from you O Lord. Stir up the gifts that are within us for your glory and help us Lord to open up our mouths with boldness to shift the atmosphere. Use us as your vessels. Father I pray, that whenever the enemy puts negative thoughts in our mind, that you remind us that we are fearfully and wonderful made.
Father, we thank you for your hand of protection, your grace and mercy. Forgive us Father of our sins; if we say or do anything this day that offends you; we ask for forgiveness, in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
