Prayer of Thanksgiving for God’s Rescuing and Sacrificing Grace

My soul in sad exile was out on life’s sea,So burdened with sin and distressed,Till I heard a sweet voice, saying,“Make Me your choice”; and I entered the “Haven of Rest”!
I’ve anchored my soul in the “Haven of Rest,”I’ll sail the wide seas no more;The tempest may sweep over wild, stormy, deep,In Jesus I’m safe evermore.
Lord Jesus, I thank you for your Rescuing Grace. I am reminded that you sent the Search and Rescue team to find me. I am so thankful that you found me before I became a Search and Recovery mission. Thank you for pardoning me of my sins and trespasses against you. Thank you for planting my feet on the solid rock which is your son Jesus Christ.
Father God, I thank you for clothing me in your righteousness, and for setting me on the right path and for directing my steps daily. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, thank you for your faithfulness and for giving me the assurance that you will never leave me nor forsake me.
Thank you for hearing and answering in the mighty name of Jesus.
