Father God,
Mother's Day is approaching and my mind thinks about all the mothers You have blessed us with throughout the world. I pray that they take time out to look in the mirror and see how they are "fearfully and wonderfully made" in Your image.
Mothers are women who give birth, women who are step moms, foster moms, spiritual moms, aunts, cousins, sisters and friends. Yes, any woman who reaches out their hands and demonstrates Your love. She who teaches, encourages, feeds, clothes, shelters, corrects, intercedes in prayer and speaks the Word into the lives of others, is a gift from You.
A treasure of precious gems, pearls and gold purified in the fire of Your love. "but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
(Proverbs 31:30-31 NIV)
I honor my sisters, and give You our Father praise and thanksgiving for your faithfulness, from generation to generation. Bless all these mothers; uplift them and strengthen them in your word with wisdom, knowledge and discernment. Open up the windows of Heaven and pour out a special blessing on each one of them.

Dios padre,
Se acerca el Día de la Madre y mi mente piensa en todas las madres con las que nos has bendecido en todo el mundo. Oro para que se tomen un tiempo para mirarse en el espejo y ver cómo están "formidables y maravillosamente" a Tu imagen.
Las madres son mujeres que dan a luz, mujeres que son madrastras, madres adoptivas, madres espirituales, tías, primas, hermanas y amigas. Sí, cualquier mujer que extienda sus manos y demuestre Tu amor. Quien enseña, anima, alimenta, viste, abriga, corrige, intercede en la oración y habla la Palabra en la vida de los demás, es un regalo tuyo.
Un tesoro de gemas preciosas, perlas y oro purificado en el fuego de Tu amor. "pero la mujer que teme al Señor es digna de alabanza. Hónrala por todo lo que han hecho sus manos, y sus obras traigan su alabanza a la puerta de la ciudad".

Honro a mis hermanas y te doy gracias, Padre nuestro, por tu fidelidad, de generación en generación. Bendice a todas estas madres; edifícalos y fortalécelos en tu palabra con sabiduría, conocimiento y discernimiento. Abre las ventanas del cielo y derrama una bendición especial sobre cada uno de ellos.
