Heavenly Father, I humble myself before you. I acknowledge that you are sovereign. You are the supreme authority and all things are under your control. Your authority is absolute; your authority has the ability to crush the weight of our worries. Father, You are spirit, infinite, eternal and unchangeable in your being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth. You Lord, are completely faithful and very trustworthy.
Lord, as we continue to live in this pandemic, under your protection, we ask for your mercy. Protect us Lord, and our loved ones and friends. As the world bombards us with bad news, and fear raises up within us, let us remember your word in, 2 Corinthians 10:5, casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. We have faith in you. You alone are in control. Protect us from every thought that does not line up with your word. Remind us, moment to moment, what your word says about how much you love us and care for us.
When we are truly faithful to God, this shapes the very way we live. We submit to your sovereignty today. We know you are in control. We thank you for your grace and mercy. In Jesus name.
