2024 Father’s Day Season Prayer for the late Peter Andrew Herger (My Father)
(Dad -)
Lord, I pray for wisdom.
You know the challenges and the decisions that are required daily.
You know the pressures that I experience as I navigate through life.
So - Give me wisdom, please, in every area of my life.
Let me be wise with relationships, wise with career, wise with money, wise with calling, and wise in every other area of life.
Let the wisdom you give me be evident to all, and truly evident, most of all, to my children.
Let your wisdom be present in every choice that I make so that my life will be pleasing to you.
Amen.

Lord, my heart, indeed, is filled with so much gratitude for my dad today.
I know that this day holds different emotions for so many people.
And I know that it is such a great gift to have a dad who has always been there for me.
So, I want to thank You for blessing me with such an incredible dad.
Thank You, for the person that You have created him as. He has been such a big part of my life, and I am grateful for the love, wisdom, fun, and understanding that he has shown me.
You knew exactly what I needed when You gave him to me as a father.
On this Father’s Day, my prayer is that he will bask in the love that You have for him.
I ask that You bless all he does and lead him in the way that he should go.
May he, indeed, know and feel how much he means to me, and those whose lives he is a part of.
In Jesus’ name - Amen.

Señor, oro por sabiduría.
Conoces los desafíos y las decisiones que se requieren diariamente.
Sabes las presiones que experimento mientras navego por la vida.
Entonces - Dame sabiduría, por favor, en cada área de mi vida.
Déjame ser sabio en las relaciones, sabio en la carrera, sabio en el dinero, sabio en el llamado y sabio en todos los demás ámbitos de la vida.
Que la sabiduría que me das sea evidente para todos, y verdaderamente evidente, sobre todo, para mis hijos.
Deja que tu sabiduría esté presente en cada elección que tome para que mi vida te sea de agrado.

Señor, mi corazón, de hecho, hoy está lleno de tanta gratitud por mi papá.
Sé que este día encierra diferentes emociones para muchas personas.
Y sé que es un gran regalo tener un padre que siempre ha estado ahí para mí.
Entonces, quiero agradecerte por bendecirme con un padre tan increíble.
Gracias por la persona como lo has creado. Él ha sido una parte muy importante de mi vida y estoy agradecido por el amor, la sabiduría, la diversión y la comprensión que me ha mostrado.
Sabías exactamente lo que necesitaba cuando me lo diste como padre.
En este Día del Padre, mi oración es que él disfrute del amor que tienes por él.
Te pido que bendigas todo lo que hace y lo guíes por el camino que debe seguir.
Que él, de hecho, sepa y sienta lo mucho que significa para mí y para aquellos de cuyas vidas forma parte.
