Heavenly Father, I come into your presence with a heart of thanksgiving and praise. I thank you for this new day and the new mercies it brings. I thank you for my earthly father even though he passed when I was only 9 years old, he left a big impact in my life.
My father, Cristino O. Rodriguez was a man after your heart, and he instilled in me and my brothers to love and seek after You. My father not only had compassion for us but he taught us to have compassion for others. My dad lived a saved life before us and he was a true godly example.
I thank you Lord, that the month before his passing he dedicated it to you, I remember going with him to church every morning at 6 am to start the day in prayer and fasting. Although I was young and didn't quite understand why we had to get up so early and go to church, I still did because i wanted to be with my dad. Father, we need more men like my dad, to step up and teach their children about you and teach them about having a prayer life. My dad was the one that first taught me the importance of prayer. So, I honor him today and I thank you God for choosing him to be my dad. It was his example that prepared me to be the prayer warrior I am today.
Father, I thank you for my dad's life and even though he went on to be with you, he left a legacy that I can proudly follow. I thank you God for your love and for being my heavenly Father. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Padre Celestial, vengo a tu presencia con un corazón de agradecimiento y alabanza. Te agradezco por este nuevo día y las nuevas misericordias que trae. Te agradezco por mi padre terrenal a pesar de que falleció cuando yo solo tenía 9 años, dejó un gran impacto en mi vida.
Mi padre, Cristino O. Rodríguez era un hombre conforme a tu corazón, y me inculcó a mí y a mis hermanos a amarte y buscarte. Mi padre no solo tuvo compasión por nosotros, sino que nos enseñó a tener compasión por los demás. Mi padre vivió una vida salvada antes que nosotros y fue un verdadero ejemplo piadoso.
Te agradezco Señor, que el mes antes de su fallecimiento te lo dedicó, recuerdo ir con él a la iglesia todas las mañanas a las 6 am para comenzar el día en oración y ayuno. Aunque era joven y no entendía bien por qué teníamos que levantarnos tan temprano e ir a la iglesia, todavía lo hacía porque quería estar con mi papá. Padre, necesitamos más hombres como mi papá, para dar un paso adelante y enseñarles a sus hijos acerca de ti y enseñarles a tener una vida de oración. Mi papá fue el primero que me enseñó la importancia de la oración. Entonces, lo honro hoy y le agradezco a Dios por elegirlo para ser mi papá. Fue su ejemplo el que me preparó para ser el guerrero de oración que soy hoy.
Padre, te agradezco por la vida de mi padre y, aunque pasó a estar contigo, dejó un legado que puedo seguir con orgullo. Te doy gracias a Dios por tu amor y por ser mi Padre celestial. En el poderoso nombre de Jesús oro.
