Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Maria Melendez
“For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 But what fruit were you getting at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.””

Father God, we have been given the gift of eternal life and are free from eternal death through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lived and died for us. Thank you for the blessed assurance of life everlasting in your Kingdom.
Give us the strength, wisdom, and guidance to get through each day. We live in a world that is constantly evolving. At times, it’s hard to keep up with changes in societal norms and the often-confusing status of issues affecting us and the world today. So many are lost to sin today that don't know the true meaning of freedom from sin and bondage. Touch the hearts and minds of those who do not understand that the life they live may not be pleasing in your sight.
We pray dear God that those that do not have the gift of eternal life, come to you, repent of their sins, and get saved. Enlighten them, that they may find their way, receive forgiveness, and start experiencing your mighty power in their lives. May all of our friends and loved ones who do not know you come to you and get saved. Meet them where they are as you did for each and every one of us.
You are so patient with us. Change takes time. Spiritual growth is an ever-evolving process as we expand our horizons and mature daily. As the scripture says, the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank you, Father God, that eternal life Is free from you through Jesus Christ. We need to commune with you in steadfast prayer and meditation so that we may know the great plans that you have for us.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord, we pray.

Padre Dios, se nos ha dado el don de la vida eterna y estamos libres de la muerte eterna por medio de Jesucristo nuestro Señor, quien vivió y murió por nosotros. Gracias por la bendita seguridad de la vida eterna en tu Reino.
Danos la fuerza, la sabiduría y la guía para superar cada día. Vivimos en un mundo que está en constante evolución. A veces, es difícil mantenerse al día con los cambios en las normas sociales y el estado a menudo confuso de los problemas que nos afectan a nosotros y al mundo actual. Muchos están perdidos por el pecado hoy que no conocen el verdadero significado de la libertad del pecado y la esclavitud. Toca los corazones y las mentes de aquellos que no entienden que la vida que llevan puede no ser agradable a tus ojos.
Oramos, amado Dios, que aquellos que no tienen el don de la vida eterna, vengan a ti, se arrepientan de sus pecados y sean salvos. Ilumínalos, para que puedan encontrar su camino, recibir el perdón y comenzar a experimentar tu gran poder en sus vidas. Que todos nuestros amigos y seres queridos que no te conocen vengan a ti y sean salvos. Reúnete con ellos donde estén como lo hiciste con todos y cada uno de nosotros.
Eres tan paciente con nosotros. El cambio lleva tiempo. El crecimiento espiritual es un proceso en constante evolución a medida que expandimos nuestros horizontes y maduramos diariamente. Como dice la Escritura, la dádiva de Dios es la vida eterna en Cristo Jesús Señor nuestro. Gracias, Dios Padre, que la vida eterna es gratis de ti a través de Jesucristo. Necesitamos comunicarnos contigo en constante oración y meditación para que podamos conocer los grandes planes que tienes para nosotros.
