Our Daily Prayer for Monday - Lorraine Tavarez

Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
— Romans 6:6 NKJV
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
— Romans 6:23 NKJV

Scripture & Prayer submitted by: Lorraine Tavarez

Father God, I come to you with a repented heart, a heart with thanksgiving. I come humbly in your presence in the name of your son Jesus Christ; to tell you thank you for saving me.

You rescued me when I was dead in my sins, when I didn’t love myself you pull me out of the pit of addictions. You took me in when I was in dirty rags; you cleansed me with your precious blood and made me white as snow.

I thank you with my whole life,  that now belongs to you, my Lord Jesus. Your amazing grace and your mercies are brand new every morning. I give you all the honor and glory, because it will always belong to you.

Thank you Jesus for loving me the way you do; now I am a new creature in you. You are the Savior of my soul, you say in your word, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have become new."

(2 Corinthians 5:27 NKJV)

I pray Abba Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, for all the lost souls; that you would rescue them, like you rescued me. For salvation is for everyone. In Jesus name I pray.

Amen
