Our Daily Prayer for Friday - Lorraine Tavarez

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a strong hold in times of trouble. Those that know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.
— Psalms 9:9-10 NLT

Theme : "Be Encouraged, Trust in Him; He is my anchor"

Abba Father, I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. I come into your presence with a heart full of thanksgiving, but most of all coming to you with a repented heart.

Thanking you, for waking me up today with a brand new day; full of your mercy and grace, giving me a sound mind to focus on you. I know in times of trouble and despair, all I have to do is go to my prayer closet on my knees and cry out your precious name, Jesus. When I need you to help me through the tough times, I trust you in every situation, even when it’s hard at times you are my strong tower.

You never leave me or forsake me; Your Holy word (the Bible) is my guide to help me stand firm. The word is also the path of righteousness and eternal life. I pray for all the readers that are reading this prayer, that they will get to know you as the true living Savior. No matter what they have done, I pray that they could turn from their wicked ways and come to repentance. I pray they could be forgiven, like you forgave me; that they may have a true encounter with you my Lord. I pray when they reach their last rope of hope, that they could call out your name, Jesus.

Please touch the hearts of those that are hurting and lost in this dark world; that they still have time to seek you with all their hearts. I lay this prayer at your feet my Abba Father. In Jesus name I pray and I give you all the praise and glory, because it forever belongs to you.

Amen
