Lord,
As I often ponder my life choices, I think about the “what ifs and should haves” in the path that I chose. Financial security, promotional opportunities often guide our life decisions. Glamour and money often are at the forefront in being successful. But, Lord, like you, I am often dismayed by these images that are portrayed through social media and other venues. Success in life is often measured by material gains and not by true servanthood. These thoughts have often crossed my own mind, as I began my own journey in more lucrative ventures. That life did give me financial peace, however, my soul was left barren. I realized early on that you had assigned me the gift of true servitude, in helping those in need, in particular our youth. Our youth are often misguided by societal lies and misconceptions. By understanding and listening to their woes with an empathetic ear, I am able to direct them to a fruitful future. It is my true honor, Lord, to listen and abide by your plans for my gifts. These gifts allow me to do your will in your kingdom. On my more challenging days, I am reminded of your servitude to all of us, your children. Let me follow your ways always and rejoice in the gifts that you have bestowed on me. I humbly pray, Your faithful servant, Amen

Señor,
Cuando a menudo reflexiono sobre mis decisiones de vida, pienso en los “qué hubiera pasado si” y “debería haber” en el camino que elegí. La seguridad financiera y las oportunidades de promoción a menudo guían nuestras decisiones de vida. El glamour y el dinero a menudo están a la vanguardia del éxito. Pero, Señor, como tú, a menudo me desaniman estas imágenes que se retratan a través de las redes sociales y otros medios. El éxito en la vida a menudo se mide por las ganancias materiales y no por el verdadero servicio. Estos pensamientos han cruzado a menudo mi propia mente, cuando comencé mi propio viaje en empresas más lucrativas. Esa vida me dio paz financiera, sin embargo, mi alma quedó estéril. Desde el principio me di cuenta de que me habías asignado el don de la verdadera servidumbre, para ayudar a los necesitados, en particular a nuestros jóvenes. A menudo, nuestros jóvenes se dejan engañar por las mentiras y los conceptos erróneos de la sociedad. Al comprender y escuchar sus desgracias con un oído empático, puedo guiarlos hacia un futuro fructífero. Es un verdadero honor para mí, Señor, escuchar y acatar tus planes para mis dones. Estos dones me permiten hacer tu voluntad en tu reino. En mis días más difíciles, recuerdo tu servidumbre hacia todos nosotros, tus hijos. Permíteme seguir siempre tus caminos y regocijarme en los dones que me has otorgado. Te lo ruego humildemente, Tu fiel siervo, Amén.
