“Love”
God, in all your glory and with all your power, I want to start by thanking you for loving us even when we sometimes have difficulty loving ourselves. God, help us to see in ourselves what you see; the potential to grow and live a life worthy of your grace.
Lord, in our times of doubt and worry, remind us that we are not only created in your image but hand-picked by you to be your people. How blessed are we not only to be able to receive the honor of your grace, but to be loved so much by our Creator? Regardless of how we may stray or the mistakes we make every day, you look upon us with mercy and with pride.
Remind us, Lord, how even with our faults you still love us unconditionally. How in our lowest of times you still reach out to us, wanting us to turn back to you. How your mercy and forgiveness can wash away any flaw, any transgression, any sin. Remind us that even if to the entire world we are broken, you are our Creator, our Father, and you can mend us.
I pray today for all of God’s people who may not feel loved or worthy of love. Those that feel they are too broken to be worthy of love. God, open their eyes and show them how they are never alone. That they will never be forgotten. That they are the lamb lost in the wilderness that you would go searching for. Father God, I pray you show them that they are a beautiful thing in your eyes, something precious and worthy of forgiveness and care. Amen.

Señor, ayúdanos a mirar el cambio como tú lo haces; cada día es creado por tu mano y cada día es una nueva bendición para nosotros. Al entrar en un nuevo año, tengamos paz en nuestras almas. Danos la fuerza para enfrentar nuevas circunstancias, nuevos problemas, nuevos trabajos, nuevos hogares y cualquier otra cosa nueva e incierta que nos encontremos.
Enséñanos, Padre, que cada día es una nueva oportunidad para alabarte y apreciar de lo que nos has sacado, las bendiciones que nos has derramado y lo que se concretará en este nuevo año. Como tú no te detienes en el pasado, ayúdanos a hacer lo mismo; ayúdanos a ser más como tú, como aquel que nos perdonó y nos hizo nuevos.
Rezo para que todos caminemos en el camino que nos has trazado en este nuevo año. Mantener nuestros pasos rectos y nuestra mente libre de distracciones. Señor, en estos tiempos inciertos, regocijémonos sabiendo que, si bien es posible que no tengamos el control de lo que viene después, tú lo sabes. Dios Padre, gracias por este nuevo comienzo, esta nueva oportunidad de seguir el camino que nos trazaste. Amén
