Gracious Father, I come into your presence rejoicing and praising your Holy name. I thank you for this day you have allowed me to see; I will rejoice and be glad in it. I thank you for your loving kindness and your tender mercies.
Father, I pray that our hearts be filled with thanksgiving and praise for the countless blessings you give to us. We should be thankful everyday for you are worthy to be praised and you are faithful to us. Father, teach us to be mindful and considerate with each other; keeping our heart and mind stayed on you.
Father, I lift up all those that were alone during this holiday and I pray that you saturate them with your love. Take away all sadness and depression and replace it with joy and hope. The word says that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. So show them there is hope in you.
Father, I thank you one more time for loving me unconditionally and for always being by my side. I lay this prayer at your feet and I thank you for hearing my prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
