For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.

Theme: "Comfort"

Heavenly Father, I thank you for waking me up this morning and letting me see the light of day. I honor and worship your holy name. I thank you Father for the Holy Spirit that comfort's me in my time of trouble. Father, you are my strength, my peace, my comfort and my joy; without you I am nothing.

As I contemplate how you have saved and delivered me from the pit I was in; I take comfort in knowing that you loved me so much, that you were always there even when I didn't see or feel you. You never leave or forsake us; You are our shield and defense. You are my joy and the lifter of my head

Father, I pray for all those that feel alone; wrap your loving arms around them and give them comfort. Envelop them with your love and reassure them you are right there with them. I also lift up all those that are grieving the loss of a loved one; give them comfort, strength and peace that surpasses all understanding. I know it is not easy losing someone you love and that it is a sorrowful time, but your word says, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." (Psalms 30:5) May they find comfort in that blessed assurance.

Father, I thank you once more for being my "Comfort" and for always being by my side. I love you Lord and I will forever worship you. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.

Amen
