Our Daily Prayer for Thursday - Rev. Millie McFarland

“Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation.”

Holy and Righteous Father, I give you all the glory, honor and praise. I thank you for being such a good and faithful Father. I dedicate this prayer to You, O God. I lost my earthly father at the tender age of 9 and it was so hard for me as I was a daddy's girl. But You never left me nor did You forsake me.

Father, I thank you for taking care of me. I thank you for comforting me in my times of despair. I thank you for sending godly men to stand in the gap when I needed a father figures guidance. I didn't understand it then, but as I got older I see where you sent them to step in. Thank you Father for being so mindful of me, my mom and my family. You are so true to Your word. You have been a father to me and a protector of a widow, my mother. Thank you, thank you and thank you. I could never thank you enough. I am forever grateful.

Father, I love you and I honor you today and everyday. In Jesus name I pray.

Padre Santo y Justo, te doy toda la gloria, el honor y la alabanza. Te agradezco por ser un Padre tan bueno y fiel. Te dedico esta oración, oh Dios. Perdí a mi padre terrenal a la tierna edad de 9 años y fue muy duro para mí ya que era una niña de papá. Pero nunca me dejaste ni me desamparaste.

Padre, te agradezco por cuidarme. Te agradezco por consolarme en mis momentos de desesperación. Te agradezco por enviar a hombres piadosos para pararse en la brecha cuando necesitaba la guía de una figura paterna. Entonces no lo entendí, pero a medida que fui creciendo, vi a dónde los enviaste para que intervinieran. Gracias Padre por ser tan consciente de mí, de mi mamá y de mi familia. Eres tan fiel a tu palabra. Has sido un padre para mí y un protector de una viuda, mi madre. Gracias, gracias, y gracias. Nunca podría agradecerte lo suficiente. Estoy eternamente agradecido.

Padre, te amo y te honro hoy y todos los días. En el nombre de Jesús oro.
