“Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ 34 And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother [g]his trespasses.””

Father,
I come today with a contrite and heavy heart, I stand in the gap for those who are suffering in war torn places, who are unsure of the environment they are living in. I lift up a plea for children in violent and abusive households throughout the earth. We stand before you Lord pleading for mercy and compassion upon the less than and marginalized.
I ask that you touch the leaders of each country today and fill them with the desire to good towards the people that they have been entrusted with. Let them come to repentance and do what they have taken an oath to do which is to operate in an honest and loving way towards your children.
Let us begin to exercise love toward each other, let us love like you love us and begin to understand that you have called us to unity and to respect one another as equals and seen as beloved by you. Soften our hearts so we can embrace your commandment to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. When we do this, we will witness a change in the world. We will strive to be kinder and gentler. The result will be that the world would become safer, more equitable and peaceful. Help us to repent, to realize the error of our ways, set our paths toward the cross where you showed us what true love looks like. Amen

Padre,
Hoy vengo con un corazón contrito y apesadumbrado, me pongo en la brecha por aquellos que sufren en lugares desgarrados por la guerra, que no están seguros del entorno en el que viven. Elevo una súplica por los niños en hogares violentos y abusivos en toda la tierra. Estamos ante ti, Señor, suplicando misericordia y compasión por los menos favorecidos y marginados.
Te pido que toques a los líderes de cada país hoy y los llenes del deseo de hacer el bien hacia las personas que se les han confiado. Permíteles que se arrepientan y cumplan con el juramento que hicieron, que es actuar de manera honesta y amorosa hacia tus hijos.
Comencemos a ejercitar el amor entre nosotros, amémonos como tú nos amas y comencemos a comprender que nos has llamado a la unidad y a respetarnos unos a otros como iguales y considerados como amados por ti. Suaviza nuestros corazones para que podamos abrazar tu mandamiento de amar a nuestro prójimo como nos amamos a nosotros mismos. Cuando hagamos esto, seremos testigos de un cambio en el mundo. Nos esforzaremos por ser más amables y gentiles. El resultado será que el mundo se volverá más seguro, más equitativo y más pacífico. Ayúdanos a arrepentirnos, a darnos cuenta del error de nuestros caminos, a encaminar nuestros caminos hacia la cruz donde nos mostraste cómo es el verdadero amor. Amén.
