Holy and Righteous Father, I come into your presence with my heart filled with praise. I thank you for who you are and all that you do. You are great and greatly to be praised. You are my portion and the lover of my soul.
Father, I thank you for being my defender and for fighting my battles. I don't have to fear or be afraid; when my enemies come against me you rise up a standard against them and protect me. The word tells me, that no weapon formed against me shall prosper; so I have a blessed assurance that you are my shield and defense.
Father, I pray that you strengthen every reader and that you remind them that your are in control. No matter what goes on around us you are our buckler and our shield. I pray that each place their trust in you. Reveal yourself to them and give them that sustaining power that only you can give. I pray that they seek you and draw closer to you; for it is in you that we live, move and have our being. Salvation and eternal life is only in you. I speak life into every situation and every person facing darkness. Bring them into your glorious light.
Father, I stand in awe of you and who you are. My life is in your hands and I thank you for inclining your ear to hear my prayer. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray.
